UNC-Chapel Hill grad
Heather Elizabeth Johnston graduated with honors May 10 from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
A dean’s list student, Johnston was a member of Sigma Theta Tau international nursing honor society and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She was also a North Carolina Nurse Scholars Scholarship recipient.
She has accepted a position at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem.
A 2004 graduate of North Rowan High School, she is the daughter of Teresa and David Johnston of Salisbury.
