East Spencer women arrested, one charged with cocaine possession

EAST SPENCER ó The East Spencer Police arrested two women, one with cocaine possession, after an ongoing investigation.
On Wednesday at 7 a.m., officers searched a home at 104 W. Earnhardt St. in East Spencer.
There they arrested Elizabeth Denise Peck, 40, and Carla Robertson, 30. Peck was charged with possession with the intent to sell and deliver cocaine and simple possession of marijuana. She was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $2,500 bond.
Robertson was charged with an outstanding order for arrest out of Cabarrus County. She was placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under a $2,000 bond.
Officers reported seizing nearly $300 worth of cocaine, marijuana and money from the home.
Both Robertson and Peck have previously been convicted of drug possession. Robertson was also convicted of assault with a deadly weapon, according to the N.C. Department of Correction Web site.
The two women have since been released from the Rowan County Detention Center.
