Appalachian graduate
Karla Mott Price graduated from Appalachian State University in Boone May 11 with a master of arts in education in special education.
At Appalachian, Price was a member of Phi Kappa Phi honor society and Alpha Chi national college honor scholarship society.
She is presently a second-year teacher at Miller’s Creek School in Wilkes County, where she teaches children with special needs.
A graduate of East Rowan High School, she is the daughter of Alfred and Rickie Price of Salisbury.
