Krimminger charged with taking broze panels from church

A Salisbury man who has previously been charged with the theft of copper from churches is now in jail again.
James Fulcher Krimminger, 27, streets of Salisbury, was charged Friday with the theft of eight bronze panels from First Presbyterian Church.
According to information contained in the warrant, the panels are worth $17,000 and were stolen between April 11 and April 14.
Salisbury Police Officer B.J. Hall charged Krimminger with one felony count of larceny and one felony count of possession of stolen goods.
Krimminger is being held in the Rowan County Detention Center with bond set at $10,000. He is scheduled to appear in Rowan County District Court on Monday.
Earlier this week, Salisbury Police charged Krimminger with breaking and entering and felony larceny.
According to police reports, Krimminger broke into a storage closet inside the basement of a relative’s home.
Work tools were taken and later recovered at a local pawn shop, said Salisbury Police Chief Mark Wilhelm.
Family members went to the pawn shop and recognized the tools.
In November, Krimminger was charged with misdemeanor larceny and intent to commit breaking and entering.
The arrest came after several thefts of copper guttering from churches on West Innes and West Fisher streets.
Copper guttering was also taken from the Rowan County Public Library.
