Finalists announced
The city of Salisburyís Cultural Action Plan steering committee has announced the 12 finalists for the Salisburyís Got Talent finale competition to be held Saturday at 4 p.m. at the F&M Trolley Barn, 125 E. Liberty St.
The top 12 finalists are, in the dance category: Nadirah Dance, DFTR Dance Group and Wagon Wheel Cloggers; in the music category: Pat Cohen (Mother Blues), Virginia and Melvin Rush and Alexis Greer; in the ěotherî category: Porcelain on Stage (Tia Glass), Wanda Gaither and Robert Jones; and in the childrenís category: Adam Broyles, Taylor Linker and Arisa McDonald.
Finalists are competing for a top prize of $1,000 at the Saturday evening event, where they will perform for a panel of judges. Members of the public may vote for their favorite contestant online at www.salisburync.gov/salisburysgottalent. Online voting will be used to determine a winner in the event that there is a tie at the finale event. Online voting will conclude Friday at 5 p.m.
