Key Rowan County Relay for Life dates:
– April 18 ó Last day for Rowan County cancer survivors to register for a dinner in their honor
– April 22 ó Paint the County Purple Day, order purple bows by phone at 704-675-5082 or e-mail at brooke.moose@cancer.org.; Survivors Dinner, 5:15 p.m., J.F. Hurley Family YMCA.
– April 26 ó Relay for Life Celebration at Concordia Lutheran Church, China Grove, 6-10 p.m. Includes hot dogs, hamburgers, cakes and pies, dancing, games and other activities for children, bluegrass music, call 704-857-2163 for more information.
– April 27 ó Movie Night at South River United Methodist Church, Woodleaf, 6 p.m. in fellowship hall. Admission to see “Last Flight Out” is a donation to Relay For Life of Rowan County. Drinks and popcorn to be served. Silent auction during movie. Call 704-278-3733 for more information.
