Boy Scout Troop 401 holds Court of Honor

Boy Scout Troop 401, sponsored by Sacred Heart Catholic Church, had its quarterly Court of Honor on April 3.
The following merit badges were presented:
Josh Brophy earned American Business, American Labor, Cycling, Fire Safety, Fingerprinting, Law; Sam Boyd earned Truck Transportation; Nick Cornacchione, Citizenship in the Nation, Canoeing, Cooking, Dog Care, Electricity, Electronics, Fishing, Music, Painting, Truck Transportation, Waterskiing, Whitewater.
Matthew Gannon earned Citizenship in the Nation, Music, Snow Sports, Truck Transportation; Stephan Hartley, Citizenship in the Nation, Pottery, Railroading.
Josh Lasker earned Snow Sports, Truck Transportation; Steven Lopez , Golf, Personal Fitness, Personal Management; Dylan Maher, Cycling, First Aid, Snow Sports; Adam Maurer, Snow Sports; Eric Maurer, Snow Sports; Josh Pring, Snow Sports, Truck Transportation; Joe Rapp, Citizenship in the Nation.
Kurt Stebe earned Veterinary Medicine; Patrick Sullivan, Fire Safety; Albert Thayil, First Aid.
The following ranks were awarded:
Star rank went to Patrick Sullivan; Life to Elliott Cave, Andy Hallett, Steven Lopez, Josh Pring.
Special awards went to Josh Brophy, who earned the Venturing Bronze Award and the Venturing Bronze Outdoor Award; Joe Rapp earned the BSA Totem Chip, Firem’n Chit, Paul Bunyan Awards.
Fifty-three awards were handed out. In 52 years, the troop has handed out 2,913 merit badges.
