Staff report
The N.C. Research Campus will reveal another new business partner Tuesday.
“It will be another important development,” said Clyde Higgs, vice president for business development for the Research Campus. “It will focus on the science side.”
Higgs declined to say more.
Because Tuesday’s press conference is scheduled to be held in N.C. State University’s temporary office, the company likely has an agricultural focus and will have a relationship of some kind with the N.C. State Fruit & Vegetable Science Institute in Kannapolis.
N.C. State staff members in the Cannon Village office plan to remove cubicles, tables and chairs this week to make room for the press and invited guests.
