Salisbury recognizes retirees, longtime employees

Salisbury City Council recently recognized city employees who retired in 2007-2008 and employees with five to 30 years of service.
The retirees include James R. Griffin, 29 years, Public Services; Donald P. Rendleman, 27 years, Fire Department; Floyd G. Rusher, 23 years, Water Resources; Jerry E. Pickler, 19 years, Public Services; and Garry Mills, seven years, Police Department.
Employees with 30 years service include Judy Jordan, Development Services; Richard Kelly, Risk Management; and Horace Cross, Transit.
Twenty-five years: Gary R. Mowery, Street Division; John W. Everhart, Facilities Management; Steven M. Whitley, Police; Jeffrey H. Youngblood, Fire Department; Ann D. Campbell, Information Technologies; and Phillip L. Simmons, Police.
Twenty years: Joseph C. Morris, Land Management and Development; Grady R. Driver, Street Division; John A. Sofley, Finance; Jerry B. Greene Jr., Police; Ronald L. Foster, Police; Jack B. White, Fire; Jamie D. Hoffner, Meter Services; Christy D. Kepley, Fire; Greg T. Pannell, Police; David B. Phillips, Development Services; Ricky A. Barkley, Fire; and Mark A. Thompson, Fire.
