CHINA GROVE ó A man who crashed his mo-ped on Westside Circle now faces drug charges.
Police arrested Lamarick Marquis Mance, 29, of 806 Harry St., on a charge of possession with intent to sell and deliver crack cocaine.
Police Chief Hodge Coffield said Mance was operating a mo-ped in the 500 block of Westside Circle when he lost control, sliding on gravel.
Police seized 28 grams of cocaine and $782 cash.
Mance was injured and transported to Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.
Police arrested Mance on Monday when he was released from the hospital.
He was jailed under $5,000 bond and also held on a probation violation.
