Rowan County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a suspect who forced his way into a 40-year-old woman’s home March 14 and then displayed a gun as he demanded money.
In other Sheriff’s Office reports:
– Jeffery Lynn Moss, 43, 315 Falcon Lane, was charged March 14 with second-degree trespassing based on a complaint by Brandy Jordan Walton, 1535 Brookwood Drive, China Grove. Trial date is April 24.
– Sotero Espinoza, 39, 122 Stoneybrook Road, and Rolando Pena, 32, 1020 Stirewalt Road, China Grove, were both charged March 13 with failure to report abuse. Both were released on written promises to appear in curt April 30.
– Eric Lamont Graham, 26, 165 Dapple Lane, was charged March 15 with possessing stolen goods, possession of weapons/firearms by a felon and possession of a controlled substance, all felonies, and with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a controlled substance and failure to yield. He was held under $20,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Vandals caused $6,000 damage to property at Hunter M. Shue’s 935 Hill Farm Road, Gold Hill, home between Nov. 22, 2007, and Feb. 25.
– Jim Bumgarner, 185 Powell Road, Woodleaf, reported copper welding leads valued at $2,500 were stolen from his property March 13.
– Donald Raymond Frick, 258 Sweet Pea Lane, reported DVD movies and cash stolen during a March 13 burglary at his home. Total loss was $710.
– Jason Derek Hall, 31, was charged March 14 with possession of property stolen from Bobby Kenneth Deese at 8043 Longbriar Drive, Kannapolis.
– A 24-year-old woman reported she was robbed at knifepoint March 14 on Pine Ridge Road in China Grove.
– Kurt James Smith, 4350 Moose Road, China Grove, reported items stolen during a March 14 burglary at his home.
– Ashley Michelle Harrison, 18, 215 Freedom Drive, and Jonathan William Pettit, 20, 533 Fair Bluff Ave., were charged March 14 with possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop on McCanless Road. Both were released on a written promise to appear in court May 14.
– Dana Ward Winstead, 35, 5675 Sherrills Ford Road, was charged March 14 with possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on McCanless Road. She was released on a written promise to appear in court May 14.
– Candita Annette Riggs, 160 Waycross Drive, Rockwell, reported a vehicle stolen from her property the night of March 14. The vehicle was recovered.
– Chad Steven Brown, 22, and Tiffany Lynn Smith, 17, both of 3909 Old Concord Road, and Steven Carr Brown, 47, 613 Higgins Way, were all charged March 15 with misdemeanor larceny and larceny of automobile parts and accessories valued at $557.50 from C&D Salvage, 645 Lentz Road, China Grove. Bond was set at $1,500 each. Trial date is April 7.
– Garnett N. Galliher, 780 Corinth Church Road, reported a burglar broke into his home March 15 and stole a firearm.
– Christopher Todd Webb, 320 Falcon Lane, reported items stolen from his home during a burglary between March 13 and 15.
– Alan Furr, 130 Sechler St., China Grove, reported two gas cans stolen from him March 15.
– James Baker, 140 Hallmark Circle, reported items valued at $894 stolen from his storage building the night of March 14.
– Christopher Todd Webb, 320 Falcon Lane, reported a $50 cell phone stolen during a burglary at his home between March 13 and 15.
– Garnett N. Galliher, 780 Corinth Church Road, Mooresville, reported a $350 revolver stolen during a March 15 burglary at his home.
– Christopher Todd Davis, 245 Red Rose Lane, Mooresville, reported items stolen during a March 15 burglary at his home.
– Michael Todd Snow, 7505 Spring Acres Drive, Kannapolis, reported a safe stolen from his home during a March 15 burglary.
– A 37-year-old male delivering pizza was robbed at gunpoint March 16 on East 31st Street in Kannapolis.
– Robert Eugene Craver, 30, was charged March 16 with carrying concealed weapons during a traffic stop on U.S. 52 in Rockwell.
– Christopher Joseph Ramsey, 21, was charged March 14 with assault on a female at 4825 U.S. 601.
– Jerome Christopher Miller, 16, was charged March 14 with felony breaking and entering a building at Clancy Hills Apartments.
– Jasmine Wood, 16, was charged March 14 with injury to personal property at 131 Campbell Road, Woodleaf.
– Sharon Nicole Robbins, 19, and Jason Derek Hall, 31, were charged March 14 with felony selling/delivering a Schedule II controlled substance at 8043 Long Briar Road, Kannapolis.
– Timothy Lynn Finney, 34, was charged March 14 with assault by pointing a gun.
– J.W. Griggs, 30, was charged March 14 with assault on a female at 8025 Longbriar Road, Kannapolis.
– Wayne Bostian, 27, was charged March 14 with making harassing phone calls at 1210 Rainwood Drive.
– Lentz T. Bates, 47, was charged March 14 with failure to return rental property at 760 Oak Mountain Road.
– Andre Terrell Hopper, 31, was charged March 14 with assault inflicting serious injury.
– Vallarie J. Higginbotham, 45, was charged March 14 with an Employment Security Commission law violation.
– Tonya Parks, 22, was charged March 14 with failure to return rental property at 115 Stoneybrook Road.
– Linda Bowyer Peacock, 48, and Joseph Edward Phillips, 41, were charged March 15 with assault inflicting serious injury at 115 Maria Lane, Woodleaf.
– Misty Dawn Westberry, 32, was charged March 15 with possession of drug paraphernalia at 1202 S. Walnut St., Kannapolis.
– Charles Christopher Buehler, 31, was charged March 15 with failure to return rental property at 4820 Sherrills Ford Road.
– Thomas Craig Stover, 57, was charged March 15 with second-degree trespassing at 5620 Tuckaseegee Road, Kannapolis.
– Eric Lamont Graham, 26, was charged March 16 with possessing stolen goods at 165 Dappler Lane.
– Tony Conway Duckworth, 32, 1802 W. C St., Kannapolis, was charged March 16 with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle based on a complaint by Tony Morgan, 2325 S. U.S. 29, China Grove. He was also charged with failing to appear in court on earlier charges. He was held under $55,000 secured bond pending a May 8 trial date.
– Farrell Anderson Clark, 20, was charged March 16 with misdemeanor larceny.
– Felix Curiel Arguero, 32, was charged March 16 with felony obtaining property by false pretense.
– Kurt James Smith, 4350 Moose Road, Cleveland, reported items valued at $3,035 stolen during a March 14 burglary at his home.
– Donald Clarance Hobart, 515 Ellen St., reported a $170 video game system stolen during a March 16 burglary at his home.
