A China Grove couple have been charged with possessing marijuana and drug paraphernalia in a March 7 offense.
Sherry Rene Burris, 43, and Charles Edward Burris, 46, both of 914 N. Main St., China Grove, were each charged Sunday with possession with the intent to manufacture, sell and distribute a Schedule VI controlled substance and having in their possession a digital scales, rolling papers and plastic baggies.
Reports said they had 16 grams of marijuana.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office investigated.
Sherry Burris was placed under $1,500 bond, and Charles Burris’ bond was set at $1,000.
Their first appearance in District Court will be today.
