Kannapolis forum on future of N.C. 3 tonightKANNAPOLIS ó Residents or business owners who own property along the N.C. 3 corridor between Kannapolis and Mooresville are encouraged to participate in a public forum tonight regarding a transportation and land use study for that area.
The public forum will be held 6:30 to 8:30 tonight at Bethpage Presbyterian Church, 6020 Mooresville Road.
As the N.C. Research Campus is developed on the former Cannon Mills Plant 1 complex, additional growth is expected along this portion of N.C. 3.
Centralina Council of Governments, in association with Cabarrus County and the city of Kannapolis, will examine how the N.C. 3 corridor should develop during the next 10 to 15 years and will address policies and regulations local governments could enact to support the land use plan’s recommendations.
