Dorothy Hendrix
CONCORD ó Dorothy Lee Grubbs Hendrix, 84, Zion Church Road, formerly of North Main Street, Mocksville, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Carolinas Medical Center-NorthEast.
Born Sept. 20, 1923, in Davie County, Mrs. Hendrix was a daughter of the late Dodson and Annie Heath Grubbs. She was retired from BB&T. She lived the past five years at Eden Gardens of Concord.
Her husband, Paul J. Hendrix, died Aug. 23, 1999.
Survivors include sister Geneva Grubbs Bowles, Concord.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 15, 2008, at Eden Gardens of Concord, conducted by the Rev. Tim Yates. A funeral service was held Sunday, at Eaton Funeral Home, Mocksville, conducted by the Rev. Virgil Hutcherson. Burial, Eatons Baptist Church cemetery.
