Nancy C. Edwards
CONCORD ó Nancy Cruse Edwards, 86, Norcott Mill Hill Community, died March 10, 2008, at Liberty Commons Nursing Center, Salisbury.
Born July 11, 1921, in Cabarrus County, Mrs. Edwards was a daughter of the late Paul Henry and Mary Ophia Cline Cruse.
She was a member of Mount Olive Lutheran Church and worked 40 years in the No. 6 Weave Room of Cannon Mills Plant 1.
Her husband, Ernest Rankin Edwards, and son Danny Edwards preceded her in death.
Survivors include son Randy Edwards, Kannapolis; daughter Patti Poole, Gold Hill; sister Bonnie C. Faggart, Concord; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, conducted by the Rev. Tommy Beaver. Burial, church cemetery.
