A China Grove man was arrested Friday on charges of trafficking heroin, opium and prescription drugs.
Anthony Neal Gaines, of 2550 N.C. 152 E., China Grove, was charged with two counts of trafficking at least 14 grams of heroin or opium and possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute eight doses of Percocet and 49 doses of Lortab.
Both are Schedule II controlled substances.
Gaines was held on $20,000 bond.
