Salisbury Academy will host its annual auction March 7 at the school’s campus at 2210 Jake Alexander Blvd. N.
This year’s theme is “Mardi Gras Madness.” Auction items will include vacations, parties, and artwork.
Some rare Hollywood celebrity items will be up for auction as well, including an original script from an episode of “The West Wing” signed by the cast members.
Gift certificates for dining and services from local establishments will be also be available.
The evening’s menu features the flavors of New Orleans, with a full dinner buffet and beverages, including fine wines and Bourbon Street favorites. Tickets are on sale now for a cash raffle; last year’s prize winner took home $5,000.
The silent auction will begin at 6 p.m. and the live auction starts at 9 p.m. Tickets are $50 apiece in advance ($25 is tax deductible) or $60 at the door. The event is open to the public.
