BioWork registration
Rowan-Cabarrus Community College is accepting students for a”BioWork” biotechnology course that begins Feb. 4.
It will meet 8 a.m.-noon Mondays through May 26 at Cabarrus Business & Technology Center, 660 Concord Parkway North, Concord.
Pre-registration and a career readiness assessment are required as are a high school diploma or GED and basic computer literacy. Registration fee is $65.
The course is a 132-hour introductory course bringing together the basics of manufacturing technology and the fundamentals of science, providing a broad overview of the biotechnology industry.
