CHINA GROVE ó The Board of Aldermen will hold a special meeting Friday.
The meeting specifies a closed session to deal with attorney-client matters.
The board recently received a court filing against the town and the Zoning Board of Adjustments. Steve Stroud, a former alderman, claims the ZBA acted improperly in ruling that his home business permit issued by the town is effectively invalid.
Other items may also be discussed at the meeting which will be held at 4 p.m. Friday in the Municipal Building, 205 Swink St.
