A two-car accident Saturday afternoon in front of Aldi’s on Faith Road sent four people to the hospital.
The injuries were not believed to be serious, though the driver of one of the cars, Michael D. Connor, 41, of 108 Reamer Circle, Salisbury, lost consciousness and was lying in the road briefly after the accident.
Connor regained consciousness before being transported to Rowan Regional Medical Center.
Salisbury Police Officer Joe Miller said a Pontiac Grand Prix, driven by David Lee Kluttz, 28, of 852 Hardison St., Mocksville, turned left into the path of Connor’s Honda Civic. The Kluttz vehicle was trying to enter the grocery store parking lot.
Two people in each vehicle were hurt.
Blanca Mollinedo, 40, of 852 Hardison St., Mocksville, and a 10-year-old were taken to the hospital. They were passengers in Kluttz’s car.
Connor and his wife, Rachel, 39, were hurt in the Civic.
Charges are pending, Miller said.
He added that a passenger in the front seat of the Honda Civic ran from the scene.
The accident occurred about 2:55 p.m. Saturday.
