A Rowan County grand jury has indicted Aubrey Neal Grimes, 81, of 1040 Ashford Circle, on 11 counts of first-degree statutory sex offense and 18 counts of indecent liberties with a child.
After his arrest on Nov. 13 on two charges of statutory sex offense, more victims came forward. Ages ranged from 9 to 11 years old. All of the crimes allegedly took place at Grimes’ home.
The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office reports none of the crimes were related to Grimes’ involvement in area Little League teams.
