Stuart Hair, project manager with the Salisbury-Rowan Economic Development Commission, has announced he will be leaving the organization to pursue other professional endeavors.
Hair has served as the EDC’s project manager since April 2006.
“Working for the EDC has been great experience for me, and I wish the organization and the community continued success,” Hair said in a press release.
“I prize our achievements and the friendships formed during my tenure.”
Hair was actively involved in coordinating site selection responses and managed the EDC’s business retention, expansion and assistance efforts.
EDC Chairman Jeanie Moore said, “Stuart has been a significant partner in our local economic efforts and helped facilitate our leadership transition by maintaining the services of the EDC to our existing business and industry partners while the organization recruited a new director following Randy Harrell’s departure in 2007.
“The board and the staff of the EDC wish Stuart great success as he pursues his next professional challenge.”
Robert Van Geons serves as executive director of the EDC.
