Butterball Run will raise funds Saturday to fight child abuse
The Forum is sponsoring its first Butterball Run Saturday, with a percentage of the proceeds going to fight child abuse in Rowan County.
Pre-registration for the 5K run, which begins and ends at The Forum, is $20, and includes a T-shirt. Registration on the day of the event is $25.
The first-place winners, both male and female, will receive a $250 gas card. Second-place winners will receive $100 gas cards, and third-place winners, $50 gas cards. There will not be any age divisions in the run.
Also included as part of the run will be door prizes and a raffle for a $250 gas card with tickets on sale for $1.
