Blotter: Statesville Boulevard newspaper box stolen

A Charlotte Observer newspaper box was stolen Oct. 27 from 2488 Statesville Blvd.
In other Police Department reports:
– Vandals damaged the front glass window at Piedmont Carpet Service, 119 E. Innes St., on Oct. 27.
– Patricia Arlene Betton reported someone sent her a fake cashier’s check which she received in the mail Oct. 25.
– Theresa Rowell Allman, 35, was charged Oct. 25 with misdemeanor larceny at 525 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Shalia Elizabeth Dockery, 20, was charged Oct. 25 with misdemeanor larceny at Salisbury Mall, 1935 W. Jake Alexander Blvd.
– Jessica Amber Reid, 22, and Rodney James Trembley, 35, were charged Oct. 25 with misdemeanor concealment of merchandise at Wal-Mart, 323 S. Arlington St.
– Jamie Jerico Horton, 16, 143 Parrish St., was charged Oct. 27 with communicating threats and simple assault/simple assault and battery or affray in the 300 block of Weant Street. He was held pending release to his parents on a written promise to appear in court Dec. 11.
– Sateria Nicole Ikard, 34, 720 Monroe St., Statesville, was charged Oct. 27 with injury to personal property, injury to real property, two counts of failing to appear in court, operating a vehicle with no insurance, possessing or displaying a fictitious, cancelled or revoked registration card or tag, license not in possession, displaying a fictitious, revoked or suspended registration and no operator’s license. She was held under $2,000 secured bond pending a Dec. 18 trial date.
– Levi Ryan Livengood, 26, 531E W. Horah St., was charged Oct. 27 with second-degree trespassing. He was held under $350 secured bond pending a Dec. 4 trial date.
– Jordan Wilson Ellis, 21, was charged Oct. 27 with misdemeanor larceny at Kmart, 815 E. Innes St.
– Dimisha Roberts Turner reported vandals damaged a vehicle parked at 1614 Standish St. between Oct. 18 and 28.
– Joan Killian, 603 Lincolnton Road, reported an air compressor stolen from her storage building Oct. 27 or 28.
– A 28-year-old female reported she had been assaulted Oct. 29 at 522 Laurel Pointe Circle.
– Latriese Donnelle Wallace, 22, 708 E. Council St., was charged Oct. 28 with resisting, delaying and obstructing a public officer at 130 E. Liberty St. She was held under $500 secured bond pending a Dec. 29 trial date.
– Torrence Jerome Bond, 52, 924 W. Horah St., was charged Oct. 28 with felony hit and run with injury, driving while impaired, no financial responsibility, driving while license revoked and speeding to elude arrest. He was held under $5,000 secured bond pending a first appearance in court.
– Zahid Muhammed Hussain reported a bag filled with his property was stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at 715 E. Innes St. Oct. 28.
– Johannes Hendrikus Wolfcamp reported an Oct. 28 larceny at 235 Chesapeake Drive.
– Velinda Stowman reported she had been a victim of a flimflam fraud Oct. 27.
– Patricia Trent Marsh reported vandals damaged a storage building at 730 S. Jackson St. between Oct. 17 and 29.
– Brian Nathaniel Givens, 605 Lakewood Drive, reported items stolen during an Oct. 29 burglary at his home.
