Two Salisbury men arrested for numerous drug charges

Two Salisbury men were placed under $200,500 bond Thursday after being arrested for numerous drug charges.
Abe Allen Jr., 28, of 200 Harrell St. and Billy Frank Everhart, 45, of 121 Pearl St. are scheduled for Nov. 3 first-appearance hearings in Rowan District Court, according to arrest reports.
Both were charged with possession of more than 28 grams and less than 200 grams of cocaine; trafficking in cocaine; conspiring to traffic in cocaine; maintaining a vehicle for keeping and selling cocaine; and possession of a half-ounce of marijuana, the reports said. Everhart was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, a set of digital scales used for processing a controlled substance.
Officer F.S. Baldo of the Spencer Police Department was the arresting officer.
