Authorities file more burglary charges against teenager

A Salisbury teenager charged previously in a series of burglaries now faces additional charges.
Cameron Stephen Uribe, 17, of 3245 W. Innes St., was charged Friday with breaking and entering and larceny.
Uribe is one of four teenagers, including two younger than 16, previously charged.
Officers found four males burglarizing a home on South Fulton Street late last week. Property taken from the house was found in the area. Officers also found the suspects’ vehicle containing stolen property belonging to victims in China Grove.
China Grove and Spencer police are also investigating cases involving the four.
Salisbury Police charged Uribe and William Ortiz, 18, of 808 S. Fulton St. Apt. B, last week with burglary, possession of stolen goods and possession of burglary tools.
They were placed in the Rowan County Detention Center under $50,000 and $100,000 bonds.
Uribe received an added $1,000 bond. He has since been released from jail.
Two juveniles, age 15, were charged and released to the custody of their guardians.
