On Aug. 7, investigators with the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office and the Salisbury Police Department served a search warrant at the home of Monte Ware and William Massey, 400 Mahaley Ave., Apt. 3.
During this search, investigators found and seized approximately 712 grams of marijuana, a handgun, $336 cash and several items of paraphernalia.
On Oct. 13, William Henry Massey, 29, and Monte Devol Ware, 23, turned themselves in at the Sheriff’s Office, where warrants were served for the following crimes: possession with intent to sell marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for controlled substances and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Massey was placed under a $1,000 secured bond, pending a first appearance in court on Oct. 15 and Ware was placed under a $5,000 secured bond, also pending a first appearance in court on Oct. 15.
