Candidates for State House, State Senate and U.S. Congressional districts have been invited to a forum Wednesday evening.
The Salisbury branch of the NAACP is sponsoring the forum at 6:30 p.m. at the Rowan Public Library on Fisher Street.
Candidates invited include Lorene Coates and Ada Fisher, 77th N.C. House District; Fred Steen, 76th N.C. House District; and William Burnette and Andrew Brock, 34th N.C. Senate district.
The NAACP has also invited Rep. Mel Watt and Ty Cobb, candidates for the 12th District U.S. Congressional seat, and Teresa Sue Bratton and Rep. Howard Coble, 6th District U.S. Congress.
