Blotter: Fishing equipment and boat stolen

Fifteen fishing rods and reels valued at $2,250 and a $500 john boat were stolen from a Gold Hill home, according to the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
Jonathan Wayne Hargett of Hendersonville reported the theft from 1380 Zion Church Road occurred Oct. 2 or 3.
In other Sheriff’s Office reports:
– Gary Hoyte Hamilton of Huntersville reported items valued at $3,500 stolen from a utility trailer owned by Craftsman Homes of Huntersville between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3 from a construction site at 243 Castlegate Way, China Grove.
– Robert Lincoln Barringer, 7670 Bringle Ferry Road, reported $400 stolen from his wallet at his home Oct. 3.
– Harvey Smith, 15275 Stokes Ferry Road, Gold Hill, reported guns valued at $575 were stolen during an Oct. 3 burglary at his home. There was also $700 damage to an exterior door and a gun cabinet.
– Jerry Ray Hill, 18255 Old Beatty Ford Road, Gold Hill, reported a $200 revolver stolen during an Oct. 3 burglary at his home.
– Debra Jean Hannan, 850 Eller Road, Gold Hill, reported vandals caused $40 damage to items in her yard on Oct. 3.
– Dwayne Anthony Partee, 31, was charged Oct. 4 with felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver a Schedule II controlled substance during a traffic stop on U.S. 29 South at Webb Road.
– Audrey Bean Funderburk, 470 Squirrel Run, reported a burglar broke into her home Oct. 2 or 3, but nothing was taken.
– Arthur G. Martin, 3345 St. Peter’s Church Road, reported medication and jewelry valued at $2,700 were stolen during an Oct. 4 burglary at his home.
– Candyce Morgan Bentley, 9075 Unity Church Road, Mooresville, reported a pistol, laptop computer and jewelry valued at $865 were stolen during an Oct. 4 burglary at her home. There was also $200 damage to a door.
– Wendy Walker Blackwell, 970 Long Bow Road, reported the Oct. 4 theft of a $512 check from her home.
– David Miller, 518 Maple Ridge Circle, reported a $150 iPod stolen from his truck left in his open garage the night of Oct. 4.
– Emmanuel Delgado Belman, 18, was charged Oct. 5 with felony motor vehicle theft. He is accused of stealing Miguel Ochoa’s vehicle from 905 Webb Road.
– Kenneth Alan Koontz, 350 Proctor Drive, reported items valued at $1,271 stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at his home Oct. 5.
– Jean Hanes, 923 Haley St., Kannapolis, reported a picnic table and two push lawnmowers stolen during an Oct. 5 burglary at her home.
– Jan Renee Collins, 18280 Dooley Road, Cleveland, reported $500 worth of copper welding leads stolen Oct. 4 or 5 from a barn on her property.
– Matthew Alton Wayne Perdue, 340 Squirrel Run, reported someone pried the lock hasp off his storage building between Sept. 28 and Oct. 5.
– Danny Lee Shepherd, 8935 Stokes Ferry Road, reported $560 cash and a $200 chain saw stolen during an Oct. 5 burglary at his home. There was also $300 damage to a door.
– David Scott Riddle, 21, was charged Oct. 4 with communicating threats at 214 Old Rockwell Road, China Grove.
– Jeffrey Scott Bradley, 24, was charged Oct. 4 with felony first-degree rape.
– Phillip Henderson Boardman, 32, was charged Oct. 5 with assault on a female at 135 Oak Hill Drive, Cleveland.
– John Ivey Lanier, 141 Strawberry Lane, reported items stolen after someone broke into his vehicle while it was parked at his home Oct. 6. Total loss was $591.
