No one injured in Concord house fire

CONCORD ó Firefighters responded to a house fire Thursday evening, according to the Department of Fire and Life Safety.
No one was injured in the blaze, which reportedly began around 6:05 p.m. at 103 Cabarrus Ave.
The fire began in the kitchen and caused heavy smoke damage throughout the house.
The damage was estimated at about $60,000, the department reported.
Firefighters contained the blaze by 6:15 p.m. The homeowner escaped without injury, according to the department.
