A Salisbury woman was placed under $100,000 bond Tuesday for assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill and inflicting serious injury.
Donna Annette Thornes, 44, of 225 E. Fisher St., was charged with stomping Gerry Brown in the head with a shoe, according to arrest reports. She is scheduled to appear in Rowan District Court today for a first appearance hearing.
