Rowan roundup Neurologist joins Lake Norman Regional staff

MOORESVILLE ó Dr. Pete Giallanza, a neurologist, has joined the medical staff of Lake Norman Regional Medical Center and Lake Norman Neurology, 124 Professional Park Drive, Suite A.
A native of Buffalo, N.Y., Giallanza graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., and received his medical degree from State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine. He also completed an internship there and then served his residency in neurology at the University of North Carolina, where he was chief resident in 2006 and 2007.
He recently completed a fellowship in sleep medicine at the University of North Carolina and received the UNC Neurology Resident Teaching Award in 2007. He is a member of the American Academy of Neurology and the American Medical Association.
Pampered Chef honor
Jennifer DeNicholas, Salisbury resident and independent director with the Pampered Chef, received Top Performance Cluster in Sales at the company’s national conference in Chicago in July.
To receive this award, a consultant must reach a minimum of $55,000 in commissionable sales in a fiscal year.
The Pampered Chef is a direct seller of high quality kitchen tools through in-home cooking demonstrations.
Administrative post
Cassie Chasteen has been named administrative assistant at Home Instead Senior Care of Salisbury to support the Concord and Salisbury offices.
She will assist with billing, payroll, newsletters for caregivers, staff support and general office administration.
“We are excited to have Cassie as part of the team,” said Jena Hare, director of operations. “Her high energy and passion for serving seniors combine to make her an asset to our office. She has a broad knowledge base that allows her to support almost all of our staff positions and is a wonderful team player.”
A Concord resident and graduate of Concord High School, she joined Home Instead Senior Care in February.
