CONCORD ó NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers Kasey Kahne, Matt Kenseth, Kurt Busch and David Ragan, along with 1989 series champion Rusty Wallace, will be among those selling tickets when Lowe’s Motor Speedway hosts Bank of America 500 Celebrity Ticket Sales Days Monday through Wednesday.
Race fans will be able to purchase tickets for the Oct. 11 Bank of America 500 from NASCAR Sprint Cup drivers and other NASCAR personalities from 5 to 7 p.m. during each of the three days. The event will take place in the Lowe’s Motor Speedway ticket office, located on the second floor of Smith Tower.
“This is a great opportunity for race fans to interact with some of the sport’s biggest stars while purchasing tickets for the race that is sure to play a pivotal role in deciding the 2008 NASCAR Sprint Cup championship,” said Marcus Smith, president and general manager of Lowe’s Motor Speedway, who will also spend time greeting fans and selling tickets.
Fans will also have the opportunity to take pictures of family and friends alongside the sterling silver NASCAR Sprint Cup championship trophy. Free hot dogs and sodas will be available while supplies last.
The Bank of America 500 is round five of the 10-race Chase for the NASCAR Sprint Cup, and tickets start at just $29.
