The Rowan County Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee is hosting a day trip to the State Fair in Raleigh, Friday, Oct. 24. A chartered bus will provide transportation and an opportunity to visit one of the best state fairs in the nation.
The N.C. State Fair features educational booths and exhibits, Village of Yesteryear, farm animals and many other exhibits that feature the importance of agriculture in North Carolina. Cost of the trip is $35 each for Chamber of Commerce members and $45 for non-members. Departure from Rowan County Agriculture Center will be at 7:30 a.m. and departure from the N.C. State Fair will be at 3:30 p.m. Lunch will be on your own at the Fairgrounds.
