Jamie Lacy of First Assembly Christian School was crowned Cabarrus County 2007 Miss Merry Christmas at the Kannapolis Parade on Nov. 28. She will ride in next year’s parade.
“Cabarrus County high schools nominate a homecoming queen to participate in the competition,” Cabarrus Events Association Director Brenda Drye said. Each student participating in the competition was interviewed by a panel earlier in the day and attended a luncheon with Kannapolis business partners.
Lacy is the 2007 Homecoming Queen of First Assembly Christian School. She will graduate in June 2007 and is planning a career in nursing beginning in September 2007.
