A forum Friday at Salisbury City Hall will give Rowan County residents the change to help plan the future of the 14-county Charlotte region.
The CONNECT Our Future Initiative is hosting the forum from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with brief presentations at 10:15 a.m. 12:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. City Hall is at 217 S. Main St.
At the forum, residents can see and give their opinions about four different options on how the region can grow and change over the next 40 years. The options have been developed from input gathered from residents, local governments, businesses and others over the past 18 months. Residents can also see the options and give their opinions online at http://ConnectOurFuture.metroquest.com through April.
From input gathered at forums across the region, CONNECT Our Future will develop a preferred growth option and present it this summer.
