Authorities have charged two Rowan county men with robbing a Salisbury man at gunpoint, taking a television and $511 in cash.
Daniel Wayne Hamilton, 32, 170 Grand Oaks Drive, Rockwell, and Philip Cody Morgan, 22, of 850 Sides Road, have each been charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon.
According to the warrant sworn out by Rowan County Sheriff’s Deputy J.A. Owens, the two men used a gun and threatened the life of Cody Allen Hodge on May 14 at 103 Carousel Drive in Rockwell.
Both Hamilton and Morgan were being held in the Rowan County Detention Center on Sunday. Hamilton’s bond is set at $25,000. His first appearance was scheduled for today in Rowan County District Court. Morgan’s bond is set at $10,000. His first court appearance was scheduled for Tuesday.
