The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the Monday shooting death of a Kannapolis man.

Deputies responded to 1975 Michelle Drive around 4:30 p.m. Monday, after Heather Helms found her father, Henry Arthur Aldridge, 54, dead on his living room floor.

He had been shot, sheriff’s officials said. Authorities are asking anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the Michelle Drive neighborhood to report that information.
