Ed Yancey and Deborah (Bundy) Yancey of Salisbury are celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary Sept. 29, 2014. They were married Sept. 29, 1979, in Jamestown, N.C.
Retired from the Washington State Apple Commission, Ed is currently owner/operator of Victory Lane Collectibles. Deborah retired from a local food chain after 37 years of employment.
Though they have no children, the Yanceys are kept busy caring for an 11-year-old Amazon parrot named Sinbad. They also enjoy spending time with their church family at Nazareth Community Church.
The couple plan a cruise in the future to celebrate this special event in their lives.
