Salisbury’s Kelsey Scott Park will be hopping Saturday for the annual Juneteenth Celebration.
The fun-filled day begins at 9 a.m. and goes into the evening and will feature good food, live entertainment, service vendors and games for children and adults, including horseshoe and basketball tournaments and softball contests.
A car and motorcycle show is schedule for 4 p.m.
Thirty-five area performers have committed to participate in the festival, and Juneteenth organizers are still accepting applications for service and merchandise vendors. Vendor space is $55.

Featured gospel groups include Original Gospel Express and Willing Travelers, both of Mooresville, and DJ Majesty will keep activities moving along all day.
Organizers recommend that you bring your own lawn chair and umbrella.
