$170,000 lottery winner here

The manager of a Salisbury Rushco Convenience store and one of his employees won $170,000 in the North Carolina Education Lottery.
Jimmy Hadden, manager, and Elizabeth Campbell, cashier, have already driven to Raleigh to claim their prize and were returning Monday afternoon to deposit the check.
Geneva McCord of Mooresville bought a Jan. 3 Powerball winning $10,000 ticket at the Speedy Mart at 1360-A Fairgrove Church Rd., Conover.
A Carolina Cash 5 player from Concord won $182,031 in Friday’s drawing. Cheryl Miller purchased the winning ticket at Harrisburg Gas Station Citgo on N.C. Highway 49 South in Charlotte.
