Mental Health Assoc. to hold workshopThe Mental Health Association of Rowan County will sponsor a free workshop open to the public May 31.
The session will be 7-8 p.m. at Rowan Public Library.
Cyndi Reinhardt of ARC of Stanly will cover historical views of working with and treating individuals with a dual diagnosis of mental illness and developmental disability, clinical challenges, diagnostic overshadowing, inadequate community supports and the importance of active treatment.
