Queens graduate
Anna Bailey Leatherman is a May 5 summa cum laude graduate of Queens University in Charlotte. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing.
At Queens, Leatherman was an Outstanding Core 410 Ethics Student, Queens Presidential Scholar and North Carolina Nurse Scholar. She received the Academic Achievement in Nursing Studies Award for the highest GPA in the nursing program.
Also, she traveled to Italy as a Queens student with the John Belk International Program.
A 2003 graduate of West Rowan High School, she is the daughter of John and Joan Leatherman.
She has accepted a position at NorthEast Medical Center in Concord.
