East Carolina grad

Hannah Clare Swicegood is a Dec. 16 graduate of East Carolina University in Greenville. She graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a concentration in finance.

Swicegood was a National Dean’s List Scholar and honor student throughout her college education. She was active in many organizations and held an executive board position in finance, service and fundraising for Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity for several terms.

She spent last summer in New York City as a debt capital markets intern at Intralinks, a global software firm for financial intermediaries.

A 2003 graduate of Salisbury High School, she is the daughter of Claudia Barnhill Swicegood of Salisbury and Todd Swicegood of Manteo.

She has accepted a position as a business development banker in the Leadership Development Program for Branch Banking & Trust Corporate beginning in January. She also plans to pursue graduate studies.
