Thieves took nearly $10,000 in goods in two break in earlier this month.
A burglary was reported Dec. 14 at Eddie Wayne Ballard’s residence at 215 Creekview Drive China Grove.
Items taken included diamond rings, gold bracelets, a gold and diamond wedding band and other jewelry.
Two guns were also taken, a .22 revolver and a .32 pistol.
The theft occurred between Dec. 3 and Dec. 14. The value of items taken totaled $6,300.
