Two arrested in marijuana investigation

A Salisbury man and woman have been arrested after a monthlong investigation into a marijuana sales operation.
According to Capt. John Sifford of the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office, detectives responded to complaints of drug-related activity in the Ellis Crossroads area.
On Dec. 9, detectives searched the home at 3550 Old Mocksville Road.
“During the search, detectives seized over 100 grams of high-quality marijuana and equipment used to facilitate the sale of controlled substances,” Sifford said in a press release.
Two arrests were made:
– Michael Dickert Osborne, 22, charged with possession with intent to sell or distribute marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
– Keeley Anne White, 20, charged with possession with intent to sell or distribute marijuana; maintaining a dwelling to keep, store and sell a controlled substance; and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both are listed as residents of the home on Old Mocksville Road.
Possession of drug paraphernalia is a misdemeanor. The other charges are felonies.
