SALISBURY ó Filing for municipal offices began Friday. Offices in all of Rowan Countyís cities and towns are up for election.
Hereís who filed Friday:
In China Grove, incumbents Mayor Don Bringle, of 310 Park St., and Mayor Pro Tem Lee Whithers, of 900 Patterson St., filed for re-election.
In Granite Quarry, incumbents Mayor Pro Tem William Feather, of 135 Kerns St., and Alderman Jake Fisher, of 977 N. Salisbury Ave., were joined by Robert Anderson, of 1208 Juniper St., in filing.
In Salisbury, incumbent Councilman William ěPeteî Kennedy filed, as did William Dale Stephens.
Filing for municipal offices continues through noon July 15.
