Strangers replace girl’s stolen Christmas gifts

Carrie Lynn no longer has to figure out how she’ll replace Christmas presents that were stolen from her Standish Street apartment.
The presents, which were for her daughter, Krishauna, 6, were hidden in a closet. On Friday a thief broke into the apartment and walked away with three toys, the only toys the young girl would receive.
On Tuesday two people contacted the Post who wanted to “make sure the little girl had a good Christmas,” one giver said.
Lynn believes it’s “a blessing from God.”
“I think it’s real good. I think that’s nice. I thank them for their help,” she said.
Krishauna said she, too, was thankful.
The company that Lynn has a loan with contacted her and bought Krishauna a baby doll.
Someone from the company went to the apartment, which is located at the Solid Rock Townhomes, and brought the gift-wrapped doll.
Just days ago the young girl was upset that she wouldn’t get anything for Christmas.
Krishauna is once again excited for Christmas. She asked her mother if she could open the doll. Lynn told her she had to wait until Christmas.
The Salisbury Police have not made an arrest. Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at 704-639-5245.
