Christmas card contest winners

The holidays are saturated with homemade things such as meals, desserts and decorations, but there’s nothing quite as special as a homemade Christmas card from a child.
That’s why we asked local students between preschool and eighth grade to make their most creative Christmas cards and submit them in the Salisbury Post’s annual Christmas card contest.
The cards had to be handmade by the child and were judged in three different age groups, based on grade. Those age groups are: preschool through second grade, third grade through fifth grade and middle school.
The winners were seventh-grade student Jack Bloom, 9-year-old Nevaeh Lovell and first-grader Baxter Heilig.
