RCCC board to recognize in-kind donations Monday

The Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees will meet Monday to recognize in-kind donations and scholarship recipients, as well as receive updates from several committees.

The board will discuss and vote on the 2016-17 academic calendar, and the Academic and Student Engagement Committee will provide an update on the college’s reaccreditation process.

The Building and Grounds Committee will discuss updates to the additions and renovations of the college’s North Campus.

The board will discuss adjustments to student fees and is expected to approve the fiscal 2014 financial audit results.

The board will consider adopting a resolution urging the General Assembly to support the North Carolina Community Colleges 2015-17 legislative budget priorities, and President Dr. Carol Spalding will report to the board an announce important upcoming events.

The next meeting of the Rowan-Cabarrus Community College Board of Trustees is scheduled for Monday at 4 p.m., at the college’s North Campus in the Paradowski Boardroom. The North Campus is located at 1333 South Jake Alexander Boulevard in Salisbury.
